What Makes Our Network Unique?
by Dingit.tv - October 14, 2016 in

We’d like to take a moment to discuss our Content Delivery Network (CDN). We hope you’ll humor us.

We’ve mentioned before that we’ve solved a lot of problems that plague other video delivery systems–latency, buffering, packet loss, and so on. While our Broadcast App is a massive component of this, it is also our physical network–and how we’ve leveraged a series of technologies–that provide our broadcast-like stream quality.

All CDNs stream video over the TCP protocol. DingIt broadcasts our video on a separate layer called UDP. Between our app and the protocol we use, as well as the extensive network of other networks we use, we’ve managed to integrate what we think you’ll agree is one of the most seamless streaming experiences on the Internet.
