Overwatch the Comedy Show?
by Dingit.tv - November 7, 2017 in

The Just Us League, a geek culture based duo consisting of Javier Jarquin and Gary Tro, are performing a show called Overwatched in London, on the November 26th.

The show will be entirely Overwatch themed, incorporating the lore and its community, alongside guest comedians and other acts. Gary Tro said: “We had so much fun doing MARVELus, we can’t wait to show people what we’ve mined from the Overwatch universe“.

“Gamers are part of what can be, at times, an isolated and faceless community,” added Jarquin. “With OVERWATCHed we’re hoping to create a space for gamers to socialise together and find laughs in a very niche subject.

Tickets costs £5 each, doors open at 6.30pm and the show gets underway at 7pm. For more information you can head over to Backyard Comedy Club website. It’s hard to tell if this sort of act will thrive or dive, but hard core fans of any gaming series will appreciate efforts made to really expand universes and comedy is a great way of reaching out. There’s only one way to tell if it’s any good. If you’re interested in going, let us know your thoughts.

If you can’t make it or don’t really fancy checking the event out, you can always relax at home with friends and watch the best highlights from Overwatch game-plays and tournaments on Dingit.tv.
