Some people might not have been aware, but Nintendo hadn’t forgotten how popular its become on mobile and thus launched an app for Switch owners on Android and iPhone devices.

While the app is officially live, expect a bunch of features to be continuously added on, as Nintendo’s Switch library expands and so does gaming-related inventories, such as match rankings get added.

The app will include a host of features including the ability to connect with your friends, via the usual request functions such as Facebook, Twitter and also Whatsapp. Another cool function is voice chat, which can currently only work via sticking your headset into your device. An important thing to note is that while the app is free to download and use, Nintendo will be introducing subscription fees next year, with a year sub fee rumored to be about the $20 mark. Knowing Nintendo they’ll be sure to make the subscription fee worth it, as we hear that part of the bundle will be access to classic NES games!
