Chipotle Mexican Grill one of the biggest fast-food brands in the world has become the latest non-gaming focused company to enter the world of esport sponsorship, teaming up with OpTic Gaming. OpTic announced its partnership with Chipotle during the season three finale of its show, Vision.
CEO of Optic Hector ‘h3cz’ Rodriguez made an official press announcement stating:
“Chipotle is already a huge part of our organization’s everyday life. This partnership fits in well with the busy lifestyles of our pro players and our OpTic Strength initiative, which helps promote the benefits of a balanced, healthy lifestyle. We look forward to introducing the brand to esports.”
The food chains logo will be on OpTic’s jerseys for the Call of Duty World League Championship. The OpTic Gaming COD team will be competing in 2017 Championship, between August 9th and 13th, in hopes of winning their first world championship.
