25,000 PUBG cheaters banned

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds aka PUBG currently has an estimated 2.8 million active players and a percentage of those players have been causing mischief by cheating in the new popular MMO Battle royale style game from Bluehole Studio.

According to them – “We have also been working hard to tackle down cheating players. This is an ongoing battle, but one we are committed to fighting”…”We have banned 25,000+ users in the last 3 months, and work daily with BattlEye to add new protections and detection’s for cheats appearing on the market.

On a hole, it’s not a massive amount of fraudulent gamers compared to other gamers but still given a large player-base, even one person cheating in the system can have a detrimental effect on a lot of other players. To counter this cheating, Bluehole Studio have been using the same tech as used on other games with cheating problems such as Tom Clancy’s: Rainbow Six Siege and DayZ, which is called the BattlEye.
